About 3.5 months ago I decided to try an alternative to commercial shampoo, all in the name of green living. You can read about the beginning of my adventure here, the sequel here and this post brings together the pieces that eventually solved the mystery of a beautiful start which turned into a gunky, greasy roots drama.

I haven’t washed my hair in over 6 weeks now and it doesn’t look as though I’m going to either.
