My Approach & Philosophy
Healthy living and healthy eating is about living life outloud! It is not about deprivation or calorie counting. It is not about struggling with this diet or another, following and breaking strict rules leading to a yo-yo of guilt and negative self and body image. It is about loving the body you have. It is about loving the life you have or creating the life you love. It is powered by knowledge and sense.
I have studied the major dietary ctheories and know that there is no one diet. Together we will find out what works for you without dieting, dissecting nutrients and certainly no boring meals! You will learn how to upgrade your current ingredients, how to use fresh, whole foods and superfoods to help you achieve vibrant health the fun, tasty way! We will also look at how healthy eating and cleansing naturopathic techniques fit in with other aspects of your life for increased pleasure and balance in all areas. My approach is one of integrative health considering all parts of the whole.
I apply a 80 / 20 practice to healthy eating and living. It’s what you do 80% of the time that counts. It doesn’t have to be all out 100%. There are no rules, guilt or ‘cheating’. Just choices. Health is a daily habit and it is in daily, small, positive changes that big shifts occur.
